The Mermaid Lounge Café and Bakeshop
Set inside Random Catch Vintage Market is a charming new bake shop and café that serves coffee, teas, and other beverages, as well as delicious pastries, and a daily assortment of fresh-baked breads. Recently opened, the bakery café features rustic décor, comfortable seating, wooden bistro tables and covered out door seating in a garden setting. The outdoor seating is a perfect shady spot for those needing a short respite or for people watching at our end of Market Street.
Coffee
We carry our own private label, Drunken Sailor Blend, a medium roast, from Lucky Goat Coffee (Tallahassee, FL). Sit in our café and have a cup of fresh brewed coffee, or buy our private label ground coffee and take us home with you! (Decaf also available, if, like me, you have to limit that caffeine intake.)
Tea
We have a variety of tea available both one cup at a time, and boxes of tea bags for sale. In addition to your standards (English Breakfast, Earl Grey (hot), Peppermint, Chai, Chamomile), we carry a beautiful selection of teas from the Asheville Tea Company. Asheville Tea Company works with farmers across the American Southeast to craft delicate, delicious tea blends, the farm-to-teacup way.

Inspired by our years living in New Orleans and Europe, we've stocked our bakery with classics like Croissants and Pains au Chocolat, Scones and Muffins, and Cookies.
